High-mix precision brackets held to ±0.1 mm
A family of laser-cut and formed mounting brackets for an automotive tier-2 supplier, held to ±0.1 mm and delivered on scheduled call-offs with FAI on every revision.
The brief
A tier-2 automotive supplier was running dozens of low-to-mid-volume bracket variants across two vendors, with drifting tolerances and slow response to engineering changes that risked line stoppages downstream.
What we built
We consolidated the whole bracket family onto our laser and press-brake cells with fixtured forming, first-article inspection on every revision and CMM verification of critical holes and bends. Held to ±0.1 mm, delivered on scheduled call-offs, with change turnaround measured in days.
